My first Mothering Sunday, we ate egg butties and then drove out to The Deep. Hull is not a very nice place; the aquarium however, was great. Lily did some leg waggling extraordinaire, especially at the sight of the long horn cow fish but was seemingly non-plussed by the sharks and enormous tuna swimming round in a perpetual vortex. I had haddock for lunch just to show my appreciation. Lily bought me a lovely card, some very nice flowers and a bottle of excellent champagne, the girl is showing remarkably good taste at a very early age indeed.
So far in the proceedings it's a big thumbs up for Mother's day.
I like it.
Infact I like it a lot.
